OUR IMPACT

As the fiscal sponsor for the City of Baltimore, the Civic Fund connects the philanthropic community to priority city projects, helping to realize an inclusive city where all Baltimore residents prosper.

IMPACT OVERVIEW

Through our fiscal sponsorship of 100+ City programs, grantmaking, capacity building, and building bridges that seed innovative solutions, we advance initiatives that support Baltimore’s residents.

Fiscal Sponsorship

We support more than 100 city programs, from youth development to arts and culture to citywide events.

Grantmaking and Capacity Building

We steward city, state, and federal funds to support nonprofit organizations bringing services to Baltimore City.

Seeding Innovation

We are networkers and connectors, addressing Baltimore’s needs by forging relationships between the philanthropic community, City leaders, communities, and industry.

The Civic Fund facilitates the solicitation, receipt, and disbursement of charitable resources to support approved government activities of the City of Baltimore.

The Civic Fund is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Mayor of Baltimore appoints up to 51% of the members of the Board, and remaining members are elected by the Board itself. The President manages the day-to-day operations of the Fund.
